Champagne Cocktail Drinks

Juices

Add orange juice to champagne and then squeeze out the juice of half a lemon. Then fill a goblet with crushed ice and pour this mixture into it. Stir it a little and then serve it chilled. Add a spoon of peach puree from the top just before serving. A mixture of champagne and mango juice also makes an excellent cocktail. For this mix the two equal proportions and then add a little limoncello to it. Mix a spoon of brown sugar to the drink just before serving. Mix a little litchi juice to champagne for the perfect sweet and yet tangy taste to it. Serve it in a champagne flute topped with a piece of litchi.

A cocktail made with champagne, pineapple juice and a little vodka is also a must try. Don’t miss out on this one. Another vodka and champagne drink is to mix it with cranberry juice. Coat the rim of a wine glass with sugar and then pour the chilled drink into it. For a very sweet tasting champagne cocktail, mix it with guava and sugarcane juice. Serve this drink in chilled cocktail glasses.

Wine

Mix champagne and white wine. Then add a little rum and stir the mixture well. Before transferring it into the glass put a few raisins in the bottom. Finally before serving, add a spoon of diluted green tea to it. Instead of rum, you could even add some Irish Cream to it and serve with a wedge of orange.

Cola

Add some cola to champagne and serve it chilled. Sprinkle a little cocoa powder on the top. You could even try mixing kahlua with champagne. Serve it with a dollop of cream. These make wonderful dessert drinks.

Cognac or Brandy

Mix a little heated cognac or brandy with champagne in equal proportions. To this add some lemon juice and serve in a tall cocktail glass. If you don’t wish to make this drink a hot drink, then just leave the brandy at room temperature when mixing and also fill the cocktail glass with crushed ice.

Garnish it either a little raspberry puree on top or a slice of any berry before serving. You could also mix your champagne and brandy with vermouth and chilled orange juice. Add some sugar to the drink and stir well before serving it in large stemmed glasses.

Herbs

Mix champagne with some mint syrup and serve it chilled. You could also make a pastel of basil leaves and honey and add a spoon of it to chilled champagne from the top before serving. Take a highball glass and place a few mint leaves and a cube of sugar in the bottom of the glass. Pour a mixture of champagne and bourbon over it and garnish it with a slice of fruit from the top.
