2 oz. of vanilla or berry vodka 1 oz. of white crème de cacao 2 long candy canes ½ oz. of grenadine syrup 1 oz. of peppermint schnapps Corn syrup ½ oz. of white crème de menthe 3 oz. of half-and-half 1 small candy cane, for garnishing
1 martini glass 1 cocktail shaker 1 ice spade 1 mortar and pestle 1 jigger 1 cocktail strainer
Break up two candy canes into small pieces and then throw them into a mortar. After that, take the pestle and grind up the pieces of candy canes with that, until you get a semi-fine powder of candy cane. Once done, take a martini glass and coat its rim with some corn syrup. Then invert the glass and dip it into the crushed candy cane powder.
Once done, set aside the glass and then take a cocktail shaker and a jigger. Place the cocktail shaker on your counter and then drop some ice cubes into it. After that, take the jigger and measure out 2 oz. of vanilla vodka with it. Once measured, pour the vodka into the cocktail shaker over the ice cubes and then add peppermint schnapps, white crème de cacao and the white crème de menthe to that.
Now put the lid on the cocktail shaker and shake that up to mix the concoction thoroughly. Mix until the cocktail shaker turns chilled from outside. Once done, open the lid of the cocktail shaker and add the required amounts of half-and-half to it. Swirl the cocktail shaker to mix-in the half-and-half and then set it aside.
After that, take the cocktail glass and drizzle the grenadine syrup into it. Once done, place a cocktail strainer over the cocktail shaker and then pour the prepared drink right into the glass. Finally, hang a small candy cane on the rim of the glass to garnish the drink. Serve the drink right away and enjoy.
1 oz. of triple sec 3 oz. of cranberry juice 1 twist of lemon, for garnishing 3 oz. of champagne
1 fluted champagne glass 1 jigger 1 twist knife 1 cocktail stirrer
Take a fluted champagne glass and a jigger. Use the jigger to measure 3 oz. of cranberry juice. Pour the cranberry juice into the champagne glass after you measure it with the jigger and follow that by adding the triple sec. Once done, give a light stir to the mixture with the help of a cocktail stirrer and then take the champagne bottle. Place the bottle on your counter and then tear off the wrapper from it.
Then place one of your hands over the cork of the bottle to prevent it from shooting out. Twist the key of the bottle and then slowly remove the cork. Once done, build the drink by filling up the empty portion of the glass with the champagne. Once everything is done, take an orange and peel off a thin strip of orange peel from it. Twist the peel slightly with your hands and then drop it into the glass to garnish the drink.
1 egg 1/4th cup of bourbon 2 tablespoons of brandy 1/4th cup of heavy cream ½ cup of milk 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar A pinch of ground nutmeg, for garnishing
1 cocktail glass 1 jigger 1 cocktail strainer 1 martini glass 1 grater 1 ice spade 1 cocktail shaker
Fill up a cocktail shaker with some ice cubes and then place it on your counter. After that, take an egg and break it open in half. Transfer the entire content of the egg into the cocktail shaker and then add the brandy, sugar, heavy cream, bourbon and the milk to it by measuring out their required quantities. Once done, close the cocktail shaker tightly with its lid and then hold it up with your hand.
Shake the cocktail shaker for 7-8 seconds or until you feel that all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed. Once that happens, replace the lid of the cocktail shaker and then place a cocktail strainer over it. Then take a martini glass and place it on your counter. Strain the prepared drink right into the glass and then serve it by grating a pinch of fresh nutmeg over it.
2 oz. of Midori Sour liqueur 1 teaspoon of simple syrup ½ oz. of freshly extracted lemon juice 1 maraschino cherry, for garnishing
1 martini glass 1 cocktail strainer 1 jigger 1 knife 1 cocktail shaker 1 bar spoon 1 citrus press
Drop a handful of ice cubes into a cocktail shaker and then set it aside on your counter. After that, take a martini glass and place it beside the shaker. Drop some ice cubes into the glass as well. Then take a lemon and cut it in half. Drop one of the lemon halves into a citrus press and then press down the citrus press handles to extract out ½ oz. worth of fresh lemon juice.
Once extracted, pour that into the cocktail shaker over the ice cubes and then add 2 oz. of Midori Sour liqueur and 1 teaspoon of simple syrup to that. Once added, replace the lid of the cocktail shaker over it and then hold it up tightly with your hand. Shake the shaker vigorously for a few seconds until the drink is chilled and then remove the lid. Now throw out the ice cubes from the cocktail shaker and strain the drink into it. Finally, garnish the drink with a fresh maraschino cherry and serve.
