7 Delicious Frozen Drinks

A frozen drink is a perfect companion for hot summer days. There are many kinds of frozen drinks but the most popular ones are the frozen cocktails. These are very low in alcohol content and are just ideal for the daytime. The colorful and vibrant frozen cocktails are just enough to take out the tiredness and gloominess of a long summer day and their fruit infused flavor energizes the mind and body tremendously.

Banana Daiquiri

Ingredients Required

2 teaspoons of triple sec 1 teaspoon of white granulated sugar 1 oz. + 1/2 oz. of Rum 1 cup of crushed ice 1 oz. + 1/2 oz. of freshly squeezed lime juice 1 fresh maraschino cherry with stem, for garnishing 1 whole banana, peeled and sliced

Preparation

  1. First, peel off the skin of the banana and then slice it into medium thick pieces. Next, cut the lime in half and extract out 1 1/2 oz. of lime juice from it. Once done, throw the banana slices into the blender and top them off with the triple sec, freshly extracted lime juice, Rum and the sugar.

  2. Finally, dump 1 cup of crushed ice into the same blender and then blend the mixture first on low speed for 5 seconds and then on high speed for another 5 seconds or until it starts to come together and turns firm. Once ready, transfer the wonderful cocktail into a fancy champagne flute and then top it off with the cherry to serve.

Golden Cadillac

Ingredients Required

1 oz. of Galliano liqueur 1 oz. of light cream 2 oz. of white creme de cacao

Preparation

Slowly pour the Galliano liqueur, white creme de cacao and the light cream into the blender. Top them off with 1 cup of crushed ice and then blend the mixture first on low speed for 5 seconds and then on high speed until it strarts to get roughly assembled. Once done, strain and pour the drink into a champagne flute for serving.

Chi Chi

Ingredients Required

1 oz. + 1/2 oz. of Vodka 1/2 cup of fresh pineapple cubes 1 fresh maraschino cherry, for garnishing 1 oz. of cream of coconut 1 pineapple slice, for garnishing 1 cup of crushed ice

Preparation

  1. Throw the fresh pineapple cubes into an electric blender and then gradually pour the Vodka and the creme of coconut over them. Finally, dump 1 cup of crushed ice into the blender and then blend the drink on low speed for 5-7 seconds and then on high speed for another 4-5 seconds.

  2. Once prepared, transfer the content of the blender into a red wine glass and then top it off with 1 pineapple slice and a maraschino cherry to serve.

Blue Hawaiian

Ingredients Required

1 oz. of blue Curacao liqueur 1 maraschino cherry, for garnishing 2 oz. of pineapple juice 1 cup of crushed ice 1 oz. of light Rum 1 slice of fresh pineapple 1 oz. of cream of coconut

Preparation

Pour the light rum, blue Curacao liqueur, cream of coconut and the pineapple juice into an electric blender containing 1 cup of crushed ice. Blend the mixture on high speed for 5-7 seconds or until everything is well combined. Then pour the drink into a highball glass to be served with a fresh maraschino cherry and a slice of fresh pineapple on top.

Friday Freeze

Ingredients Required

1/2 cup of Vodka 4 scoops of orange sherbet ice cream 4 tablespoons of Rum 1 cup of orange juice

Preparation

  1. Dump 1/2 cup of crushed ice into an electric blender and then pour the orange juice, Rum and the Vodka into the same blender. Follow that by adding the orange sherbet ice cream. Process the mixture on highest speed until it becomes much thicker than juice.

  2. The consistency of the drink should be thicker than normal juice but not very thick. If your drink becomes too thick, you can add more orange juice, Vodka and Rum to thin it out. On the contrary, if your drink is very runny, add more orange sherbet to make it thicker. Once ready, pour it into a fancy glass and pop it into the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes before serving.

Sex On Ice

Ingredients Required

2 fresh strawberries 1/2 oz. of light rum 1/2 oz. of melon liqueur 1/4th oz. of strawberry schnapps 1/2 oz. of Vodka 1/4th oz. of Cheri-Beri Pucker schnapps 1/2 oz. of Razzmatazz liqueur 1 maraschino cherry, for garnishing Whipped cream, for garnishing

Preparation

  1. Throw the fresh strawberries into an electric blender and then pour the light Rum, Vodka, strawberry schnapps, melon liqueur, Razzmatazz liqueur and the Cheri-Beri Pucker schnapps over the strawberries in the blender. Finally, dump 1/2 cup of crushed ice into the blender.

  2. Cover up the blender tightly with its lid and then process the mixture on high speed until the strawberries are thoroughly pureed and everthing is nicely blended. Once done, pour the drink unstrained into a cocktail glass and serve it immediately with some whipped cream and a fresh maraschino cherry on top.

Watermelon Margarita

Ingredients Required

2 cups of fresh watermelon cubes, deseeded 6 oz. of tequila 1 large lime 1 lime wedge A pinch of white granulated sugar Confectioner’s sugar 3 oz. of triple sec

Preparation

  1. Deseed and cut up a fresh watermelon into small cubes, so that you get 2 cups worth of watermelon cubes. Once done, throw them into an electric blender and puree them until smooth. Once done, add the crushed ice to the watermelon puree and then follow that by adding the triple sec, freshly extracted juice of 1 lime, tequila, and a pinch of sugar.

  2. Blend the mixture on medium high speed until everything gets incorporated into one another. Once ready, run a lime wedge over the rim of a margarita glass and then dip it in confectioner’s sugar before pouring the drink in it.
