To beat the summers and make it exotic, frozen rum drinks can be nothing but the best. You can get it in many of the restaurants you hang out in and a single pint tends to bring out the life in you. But there might be so many of them that you are likely to get confused while making a selection.
To avoid that, I here mentioned five such drinks which are not only my personal favourite but are voted to be the leading choices amongst the general public as well.
Types Of Frozen Rum Drinks
Mojito Rum Drink
It consists of the five essential elements namely white rum, sugar preferably sugarcane juice, lime juice, sparkling water and mint. It is to be noted that one should be a bit choosy about the type of mint one picks, as they all do not have the same taste. It takes about 5 minutes and a few seconds to prepare it. Out of all the cocktail drinks, it is most easily found in all the restaurants and cafes. It is highly refreshing especially in the scorching heat of summer.

It contains light rum and dark rum, passion fruit juice, orange juice, juice of a half a lime, simple syrup, grenadine, Orange slice .Once it is prepared it is garnished with cherry and one slice of a fresh orange. It is served on the rocks, poured over ice.
The Painkiller Rum Drink
As the name suggests the drink actually relieves a person of all possible pain that he is enduring. Few drops of it transform the mind and soul totally. Mai Tai Rum Drink
It was invented in California. This drink is made of both dark and light rum, lime juice, orange curacao, and orgeat syrup. All of these ingredients excepting the dark rum are put together along with some ice cubes in a shaker and within five minutes a lavishing drink is ready for you. And then a cherry is put on top to garnish it.
Pina Colada Rum Drink
It requires cream of coconut, coffee liqueur, black rum, dark cream and some milk and pineapple juice. It is quiet similar to the Bushwacker drink but slightly different because of its pineapple content. For the drink, these are shaken together with ice cubes and are garnished with pineapple wedge. It is also the national beverage of Puerto Rico and is served by all the Puerto Rican bartenders.
Conclusion
These drinks are stunners, there is no doubt regarding that. But one must not have in large amounts say a pitcher full all by herself which can prove to be fatal due to the rum content in it and may lead to a temporary loss of state of mind. So have it in limited amounts and enjoy the flavour of each of these drinks.
