7 Delight Green Cocktails Recipes

Green cocktails although cannot be seen very often like red or white cocktails, but some of them certainly are very popular among cocktail lovers. The rich and bright green color of the cocktails imparts freshness to the mind and helps to relieve it from all tensions and mental stress.

Since green is also the color of peace, you can expect a peaceful and cozy evening with a glass of green cocktail in hand after a long tiring day.

Flying Grasshopper Cocktail

Ingredients

1 oz. of light cream 1 oz. of vodka 1 oz. of Crème de Menthe A pinch of grated chocolate, for garnishing 1 oz. of Crème de Cacao

Tools

1 cocktail shaker 1 cocktail glass 1 grater 1 jigger

Procedure

  1. Fill up a cocktail shaker with 2-3 ice cubes and then measure out the Crème de Cacao, Crème de Menthe, vodka and the light cream with the aid of jiggers. Pour the ingredients one by one into the cocktail shaker and then shake the shaker vigorously to prepare the drink.

  2. Shake the shaker until it becomes chilled and misty. Once that happens, fetch a prepared chilled cocktail glass and pour the drink into it by straining. Finally, grate some fresh chocolate on top of the drink to serve it.

Caruso Cocktail

Ingredients

2 oz. of Dry Vermouth 1 oz. of green mint liqueur 3 oz. of gin

Tools

1 cocktail glass 1 strainer 1 mixing glass 1 bar spoon

Procedure

  1. Pour the measured amounts of gin, green mint liqueur and the Dry Vermouth into a mixing glass that has been already filled up with 4-5 ice cubes. Once added, stir the mixture with a bar spoon until it turns very cold and then strain it into a chilled fancy cocktail glass for serving.

Shamrock Cocktail

Ingredients

1 oz. of Dry Vermouth 1 teaspoon of green mint liqueur 1 oz. of Irish Whisky 1 teaspoon of Green Chartreuse 1 green olive, for garnishing

Tools

1 mixing glass 1 bar strainer 1 bar spoon 1 cocktail glass 1 jigger

Procedure

  1. Fish out a whole green olive from its jar with the help of a spoon and then rinse it under running water. After that, use a jigger to measure all of the required ingredients and then pour them into a mixing glass filled with ice cubes.

  2. Once done, give a nice stir to the mixture to mix everything nicely and then pour the drink into a chilled cocktail glass by passing it through a bar strainer. Garnish the drink with a fresh green olive and then serve it immediately.

Green Dragon Cocktail

Ingredients

2 oz. of green mint liqueur 1 oz. of fresh lemon juice 4 oz. of Gin Peach bitters 1 oz. of Kümmel

Tools

1 cocktail shaker 1 bar strainer 1 cocktail glass 1 citrus press 1 jigger

Procedure

  1. Cut a fresh lemon in half across the rind and then extract out the juice from one of the halves by putting it into a citrus press. Once done, measure out 1 oz. of the freshly squeezed lemon juice and pour it into a cocktail shaker. Throw some ice cubes into the shaker and then pour the Gin, mint liqueur and the Kümmen into the shaker.

  2. Finally, add the peach bitters to the mixture and then close the shaker tightly with its lid or the other glass. Once ready, shake the shaker vigorously until the drink is thoroughly mixed up and turns chilled and then hold a bar strainer over a chilled cocktail glass. Pour the prepared drink into the glass through the strainer and then serve it right away.

St. Patrick Cocktail

Ingredients

1 oz. of Irish Whisky A dash of fresh orange juice 1 oz. of Green Chartreuse 1 oz. of green mint liqueur Orange twist, for serving

Tools

1 mixing glass 1 bar strainer 1 twist spoon 1 bar spoon 1 cocktail glass Jiggers

Procedure

  1. Use a fresh orange to extract out a little bit of fresh orange juice from it. For that, take a fresh orange and cut it in half. Fish out all the seeds from one of the orange halves and then throw the seedless orange into a citrus press to squeeze out the juice from it. After that, take a mixing glass and throw some ice cubes into it. Top the ice cubes with Irish Whisky, Green Chartreuse and the green mint liqueur.

  2. Finally, add a dash of orange juice to the mixture to jazz it up. Once done, give a good stir to the mixture and make sure that all the added ingredients are thoroughly combined. Once done, use a bar strainer to strain the drink into a chilled cocktail glass. At last, garnish the drink with an orange twist and serve.

Jade Cocktail

Ingredients

4 oz. of Light Rum ½ oz. of triple sec 1 oz. of fresh lime juice ½ oz. of green mint liqueur

Tools

1 jigger 1 cocktail glass 1 bar strainer 1 tong 1 cocktail shaker

Procedure

  1. Pick up a few ice cubes with the help of a tong and then throw them into a cocktail shaker. Measure out and pour the green mint liqueur, triple sec and the light rum into the cocktail shaker. After that, take a lime and cut it in half. Squeeze out 1 oz. worth of fresh lime juice from the lime, while being careful not to drop any lime seeds into the juice.

  2. Once done, pour the required amounts of fresh lime juice into the cocktail shaker and then secure the mixture inside by closing the lid of the shaker tightly. Once done, give a nice shake to blend the mixture and then pour the prepared drink into a cocktail glass that has been prepared by chilling it. Make sure that you strain the drink while pouring it into the cocktail glass.

Apple Martini Cocktail

Ingredients 2 oz. of apple liqueur ½ teaspoon of simple syrup 3 oz. of vodka 1 oz. of fresh lemon juice 1 slice of green apple, for garnishing 2 oz. of fresh apple juice

Tools

1 juicer 1 citrus press 1 cocktail shaker 1 bar strainer 1 tong 1 cocktail glass Jiggers

Procedure

  1. Throw a fresh granny smith apple into a juicer and process it to take out the juice from it. Once done, strain the juice with the help of a strainer and then keep it aside. Now fill up a cocktail shaker with ice cubes and then top it up with the fresh lemon juice, apple liqueur, apple juice, vodka and the simple syrup. Give a good shake to the mixture and then strain it into a chilled glass. Stick a slice of green apple to the rim of the glass to serve the drink.
